| Serbian Orthodox Church on Georgievski’s Stance on Vraniskovski Case |

 Former PM Ljubco Georgeivski told the weekly Fokus that Jovan Vraniskovski was a political prisoner, the Serbian Orthodox Church said. The Church also reiterated that Georgievski has also said on several occasions in the past that the case of Vraniskovski and the Orthodox Ohrid Archbishopric is nothing else but a politically-motivated process and that church issues in Macedonia should be solved through dialogue instead of arrest and imprisonment of Vraniskovski. Vraniskovski, the Church points out, is tried over and over again while the rest of his associates recently became the target of people whose goal is to destroy the recognised Orthodox Ohrid Archbishopric.
