| World Macedonian Congress General Assembly to be Held on Saturday |

 At its 22nd General Assembly, which will be held on Saturday, the World Macedonian Congress will start the preparations to mark the 100th anniversary of the Treaty of Bucharest and inform the UN about the issue of the Macedonians who were violently persecuted during the Balkan Wars and the Greek Civil War. In addition, the organisation will prepare a resolution demanding that the citizenships, properties and other rights be given back to the persecuted Macedonians. “The World Macedonian Congress will demand information about how Greece fulfils its obligations towards the Macedonians in line with the Treaty of Bucharest,” the organisation said, reiterating that the name issue talks and Greek genocide against Macedonians should stop.
