| Interior Ministry Calls for Easing of Tensions |

 New protests which will be staged on Friday and Saturday are once again being organised on the social networks. One Facebook group calls for a protest on Friday while a counter-protest is planned for Saturday. The Interior Ministry has received no announcement that a protest will be held but the police are monitoring the groups which are informally organising themselves to stage one. “We already have a selection of certain persons and profiles which are calling for organisation of protests both on Friday and Saturday. Even if we do not get a formal announcement for the protests, as was the case for Saturday, the police will take all necessary measures on the basis of the operational knowledge and information it will have at its disposal the moment before and during the protest,” Interior Ministry spokesperson Ivo Kotevski said.
