On the second day of his visit to India, PS Trajko Veljanoski met with his host Meira Kumar, the Speaker of the lower house of India’s Parliament. Kumar said the two countries have been linked by democracy, rule of law and human rights. Veljanoski’s Cabinet said Kumar commended

’s economic reforms, expressing hope that the country will soon become a full-fledged EU member. She voiced her support of bolstering the bilateral economic cooperation, as well as continuing the one in the spheres of healthcare, culture and education. Veljanoski considers the meeting to be an opportunity for deepening the parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
