US Ambassador Baily underlines Importance of referendum

During a visit to Prilep on Thursday, where he held several meetings, US Ambassador to Macedonia Jess Baily underlined the importance of the referendum. “My main message for the young is for them to seize this opportunity and become the EU and NATO future. After the referendum, you’ll become North Macedonia and when you become a member of NATO and, afterwards, the EU, you will see that your neighbours will have the freedom to come to Macedonia and bring new investments,” he stressed. According to Baily, the most important thing is for people to get familiarised with the content of the deal, participate in the referendum and make a decision based on their own opinion.
