The increase in new cases of COVID-19 in the neighbourhood may again close border ramps. Just a week after the borders opened, worrying corona newsletters have prompted the Infectious Diseases Committee to decide whether to ban travel to Serbia and Kosovo. The decision will be known Friday. “The Infectious Diseases Committee is actively monitoring the epidemiological situation with the coronavirus in the region and neighbouring countries and the possible return of measures is aimed at preventing potential health risks to the population in North Macedonia,” the Health Ministry said in a statement. If this scenario happens, it means that from the countries we border with, Macedonian citizens will be able to enter Albania only.
