Filipce: Students Should Return to Schools, but Under Strict Protocols

Health Minister Venko Filipce revealed in an interview for Kanal 5 TV details about the plans of the Health and Education Ministries for reopening schools and kindergartens on 1 September. “The position of the Health Ministry is that children should go to schools and kindergartens, but only under precisely defined protocols and regulations. Initially, these protocols will include compulsory face protection gear in the objects, regular disinfection throughout the day, and dividing children into smaller classes. The situation with COVID-19 will last for a while indeed, but we cannot stay closed in our homes forever,” Filipce said.
