Zaev: Macedonian Language and People Guaranteed in Skopje-Sofia Deal

The Macedonian language and people are guaranteed in the Skopje-Sofia deal, PM Zoran Zaev says. The focus is on quickly overcoming the misunderstandings with the eastern neighbour, according to him. In Sofia, the first stage of the proposal of Defence Minister Krasimir Karakachanov for 24 May, Ss Cyril and Methodius Day, to be Bulgarian Literacy Day has been successfully completed. The country’s Foreign Minister, Ekaterina Zaharieva, still considers that the Macedonian language is be an open issue.
