On the occasion of the new Framework for Cooperation for Sustainable Development 2021-2025 with the UN, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said that the country has a strategic document for strengthening the principles of sustainable development and building a prosperous and inclusive society. As part of the activities on the occasion of the United Nations Day and the 75th anniversary of the signing of the UN Charter, Prime Minister Zaev, together with the Minister of Interior, Oliver Spasovski, the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Naser Nuredini, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Arjanit Hoxha and the UN Resident Coordinator Rossana Dudziak, as well as senior representatives of UN agencies in the country, participated in the planting of 75 young tree seedlings in the vicinity of Lake Veles – “Mladost”, which was affected by fire more than a year ago. The action is organized as a symbolic commitment for a greener, better and sustainable future of all people in Macedonia, as one of the national challenges and priorities included in the new Framework for Cooperation for Sustainable Development 2021-2025, for cooperation between the country and the UN, signed Monday by UN Resident Coordinator Rossana Dudziak and Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani.
