Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and the President of the political party Alternative and MP, Afrim Gashi met in the Club of MPs, the Government said in a statement. The meeting reaffirmed the country’s determination to move towards a European future, all with the aim of fulfilling the strategic goal – the start of negotiations with the EU. “North Macedonia is facing a very important moment, and that is the expectations in December, in fact the long-term promise from the EU, and that is to adopt the negotiating framework of the General Affairs Council and to schedule the first intergovernmental conference, i.e. to get it for so long expected date for negotiations. It is something that should be the responsibility of everyone in the country,” said Prime Minister Zaev, adding that the topics discussed were programmatic and cared for equally by all citizens.
