COVID Situation: Masks to Be Mandatory in Hospitals and Outpatient Clinics

There is no recommended isolation for people with COVID, but masks will be mandatory in hospitals and outpatient clinics.

The Infectious Diseases Commission made that decision at Wednesday’s meeting. “We will treat this as every other disease that’s endemic, such as the flu,” Commission Spokesperson Zlate Mehmedovic said.

According to the Commission, it’s clear that the number of people who do COVID tests is significantly lower when compared to the situation last year. In August 2022, there were over 12,000 cases.
