PM Dimitar Kovacevski said on Thursday that the decision to vote against the Amnesty Draft-Law shouldn’t affect relations with coalition partners.
As he added, Justice Minister Krenar Lloga had an opportunity to present the law before MPs, while parliamentarians themselves have a right to vote, on their behalf and on the behalf of citizens, on draft-laws that are offered.
However, Lloga isn’t giving up. Since the draft law was not adopted in the shortened procedure, the regular procedure will now be used, he announced.
When it comes to the opposition, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said his party’s stand was clear. The question now, in his view, should perhaps be whether there is some misunderstanding between SDSM MPs and the party’s leadership.
