The opposition will not participate in the preparation of the new Public Prosecutor’s Office Draft-Law, whose adoption requires a two-thirds majority.
The information was announced on Wednesday by VMRO-DPMNE Parliamentary Group Coordinator Nikola Micevski, who said he’d been invited to a coordination meeting, stressing nonetheless his party wouldn’t participate.
As he added, it’s highly unserious and unfair that over such a matter, the Government and, primarily, the Ministry of Justice invited the opposition to join at the last minute.
“The problem is that they’re sending the invitation for ‘inclusivity of the opposition in the process’ over material that’s already been prepared and has been sent after the preparation of the text,” Micevski stressed.
