
SDSM leader Dimitar Kovacevski, in the frames of his working visit to Rome, attended and addressed the joint event of the Italian Socialist Party and the country’s Democratic Party, in cooperation with the European Forum for Democracy and Solidarity and the CEE Gender Network.
Since SDSM came to power, he stated, all democratic progress parameters have seen a jump. Regarding the EU path, he once again said membership by 2030 was an ambitious yet attainable goal. In the frames of his working visit to the Italian capital, Kovacevski met the leader of the Spanish Socialist Party, Pedro Sanchez, who’s also Spain’s PM.
They underlined the importance of fostering social democratic values as a foundation of democratic societies that contribute to the economic and social development of Europe.
Kovacevski also participated and addressed the session headlined “Solutions for a Better Quality of Life”, in the frames of the 2024 PES Election Congress headlined “THE EUROPE WE WANT: SOCIAL, DEMOCRATIC, SUSTAINABLE”.
