In an interview with Sitel on Monday, PM Hristijan Mickoski, asked about the Trubarevo fire and what citizens had been breathing, said that though there were certain heightened parameters within the first 100 metres, that was far from those parameters that the opposition was trying to make public by using speculations.
“They’re not life-endangering, as someone is saying. I am not saying this to justify the fire that took place, but rather to instill peace and peacefulness among citizens”, he noted, adding that though the opposition was trying to instill unrest, the reality was completely different.
When it comes to Drisla, he said around 10 people part of the managerial structure had been summoned for a conversation at the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector.
“Their statements are being analysed, but I also expect, tomorrow, part of the Drisla employees to give statements of theirs as to how when these fires break out, suddenly, part of the equipment Drisla has at its disposal is sent to servicing, they declare themselves unprepared to deal with the challenges ahead, how part of the people magically take sick leaves, how part of activists known in the city from SDSM and DUI visit the Drisla location. So, all of this will be investigated in detail in the period ahead. And if someone thinks they will go unpunished, they’re lying to themselves”, Mickoski stressed.
The PM said he’d already presented his stand on a deliberate scenario and centres of powers domestically and outside the country.
“I will not comment on the outcome that such, similar, scenarios will perhaps be repeating themselves to us. And I said resolutely that we would fight and win at the end. I truly mean that, whereas those centres will continue to try to cause damage, which I expect”, Mickoski added.
