Parents of Dimo Hadji Dimov Students Submit Draft Demands

Parents who didn’t allow children to go to classes at Dimo Hadji Dimov Elementary School on Monday have signed draft demands submitted to both the Principal and Council of Parents.

They demand a clear plan that they say will ensure regular and strengthened sanitary supervision, strict control over the food operator, a protocol for hygiene of areas and restrooms, and specific steps to prevent similar situations.

In addition, they demand a guarantee, in writing, i.e. that they be submitted an official statement after the controls confirming there is full compliance with sanitary standards and all risks have been eliminated.

If the School doesn’t act according to its legal duties, they say, they reserve the right to get the local authorities, the Education Ministry, and other relevant institutions involved, as well as to initiate procedures if the aforementioned information is not provided. Principal Lela Nikoloska, who hasn’t commented on the demands, previously said the School had been fully disinfected.
