| Russian Company Grisko Opens Factory in Demir Hisar |

The world renowned Russian company for manufacturing ballet point shoes and other sport clothing GRISKO opened its first factory for manufacturing ballet shoes, which will open 80 jobs, in Demir Hisar village Slepce.
PM Gruevski stated it is pivotal that Grisko plans to open the second factory in Demir Hisar in the second phase of the investment which is to start operations by the end of 2013 and will open another 200 jobs. The president of the company, Nikolay Grisko indicated that the energy and sincerity, as well as the honesty of Gruevski and his team during their visit in Moscow within the road show of the government in Russia in June 2012, played the key role in his decision to invest. “As of today, I am a Macedonian, a citizen of this wonderful country. I must admit that there is no corruption and crime in the country, which is beyond my belief,” said Grisko and expressed his deep gratitude to the government for their support in the implementation of the investment. Russian ambassador to Macedonia Oleg Nikolaevic Shcherbak, said that the number of Russian direct investments, which currently amounts to 400 million dollars, is growing. “In order to achieve competitive results, we consider that it is very important to increase the constructive cooperation at state level as well as to maintain the dynamic development in the communication between the business communities of both countries,” stressed Shcherbek. The Minister tasked with attracting foreign investments Bil Pavlevski said that Grisko is ranked among the top three global leaders for manufacturing ballet point shoes, shoes for other dance genres, fitness and yoga wear, as well as clothes for an active life. The company owns five factories and sells its products in 70 countries of the world.
