The construction sector is gradually recovering from the consequences of the crisis, and forecasts are that 2013 will be a year of building expansion.
Verification for this trend is the interest in the 10th International Fair of Construction, building materials and construction machinery. Over 300 construction companies will be presented at the 10th Fair of Construction Buildings Materials and Construction Mechanization, Build & Construct 2013 which opens Tuesday at Skopje Fair. This manifestation will be supplemented with the 3rd international real estate exhibition, RealExpo. Deputy PM and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski will open the fair. The fair, which lasts until March 9, will provide presentation of over 300 companies in the country and from Serbia, Turkey, Italy, Slovenia, Kosovo and Germany. Participants will exhibit in three fair halls at an area of 9,000 m2. RealExpo fair will provide offers by investors for buying 1.500 new apartments and favourable conditions for buying flats through the ‘Buy a House, Buy a Flat’ project “This fair compared to last year’s is increased by 10% according to the number of exhibitors, which is probably a reflection of the construction economy,” Valentina Dimitrova, operating director of the Fair said. This is confirmed by the number of building permits issued last year which is by over 8 % higher than the previous year.
