|Report on Industry Production in January 2013|

According to State Statistical data, the industry production in January 2013 has decreased by 1.3 % compared to the same month in 2011, which marks the 17th month of industry production decline.
However, the reduction in January is much lower compared to December 2012 when it amounted to 8 %. According to sectors, industry production in the mining and quarrying sector in January at annual level has increased by 17.6 %, in the processing industry dropped by 4.5 %, whereas in the energy, gas, steam and air conditioning sector there was fall by 0.7 %. In relation to main industrial groups, the production in January 2012 has grown in the energy sector by 2.2 %, capital goods by 11.4 % and non-durable goods for broad consumption by 5.1 %, whereas it has dropped in the intermediate goods, except energy, by 13.1 % and durable-goods for broad consumption by 5.8 %.
