1,293 New COVID-19 Cases, 24 Deaths in Past 24 Hours

4,094 citizens were tested for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, of which 1,293 tested positive for the virus, while in the same period 24 patients with COVID-19 passed away. At the moment, 1,135 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised in clinics around the country, 483 of them in Skopje. Due to the overcrowded capacities at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases in Skopje, patients are admitted to COVID centres open in the Clinics for Ophthalmology, for Otorhinolaryngology, for Surgical Diseases and the Clinic for Traumatology, Orthopaedic Diseases, Anaesthesia, Reanimation, Intensive Care and Emergency Centre in Skopje. So far in Macedonia, 115,222 COVID-19 cases were confirmed, of which 99,015 cured, 12,819 still active, while 3,388 have passed away.
