14 Citizens of Bulgaria Reportedly on Blacklist for Entering North Macedonia

14 citizens of Bulgaria are on a blacklist when it comes to entering North Macedonia, Bulgarian National TV has reported, without mentioning names. On social media, Bulgarian agency Bespartien.bg said on Saturday it hadn’t been allowed to enter the country. It also shared a document issued by North Macedonia’s Foreign Ministry. Previously, Bulgaria’s caretaker Interior Minister, Ivan Demerdzhiev, had confirmed the list. However, he said it was not long. Former Bulgarian PM Boyko Borissov stated that the ban on entry for Bulgarian citizens due to a security threat matter was failure of Sofia when it came to foreign policy.
