Health Minister Venko Filipce revealed at a press conference that in the past 24 hours in Macedonia 18 new cases of COVID-19 positive patients have been registered, which raises the total number of cases in the country to 617. Besides this, two COVID-19 related deaths were also registered in the past 24 hours, while 5 patients that were hospitalised at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases in Skopje have been discharged after the two control tests ran on each of them turned negative for COVID-19. On Wednesday afternoon, the Health Ministry informed that the 27-year old woman from Kumanovo who was rushed to the hospital in labour and gave birth to a boy also died of COVID-19 complications. So far, by cities, there are 261 COVID-19 positive patients in Skopje, 130 in Kumanovo, 49 in Debar, 38 in Prilep, 29 in Tetovo, 28 in Struga, 20 in Stip, 18 in Kocani, 10 in Veles, 8 in Bitola, 4 in Gostivar, Gevgelija and Radovis, 3 in Kavadarci, Kriva Palanka, Krusevo and Ohrid and 2 in Strumica.
