A 56-year-old Bitola man, not a terrorist organisation, is behind the death threats against Ljubomir Joveski, Public Prosecutor, and Vilma Ruskovska, head of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecution of Organised Crime and Corruption, but also towards an embassy. The suspect, Stevce Zika, was detained by police in Bitola in his and his mother’s home. A mobile phone and a laptop were seized. He’s been charged with endangerment of security. The investigation has confirmed he sent the two letters even though he presented fake names as the sender. He sent them from the post offices in Bitola and Prilep, which security footage in the post office affiliates has confirmed.
