807 New COVID-19 Cases, Travelers from Africa to Undergo Quarantine

The Health Ministry conducted in the past 24 hours 3,312 COVID-19 tests, of which 807 turned positive. Analyses at the Laboratory of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts confirmed the presence of the British COVID-19 strain among one of two citizens who came back from a holiday in Tanzania two days ago, prompting the Infectious Diseases Committee to propose compulsory 14-day quarantine for citizens coming from African countries. The Health Ministry also registered 314 cured patients, while 5 have passed away.
