The letter sent last week by six member states to the European Commission in which they request start for negotiations for Albania and Macedonia in March 2020 receives signatures by 9 other EU countries. Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland and the Czech Republic were joined by Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta and Portugal by adding their signatures on the letter to the European Commission in which they give their support for the methodology reform in the accession process providing it enables opening accession talks for membership with Skopje and Tirana in March 2020. The letter comes as self-willed answer to the French initiative proposed the previous week for the negotiations process for candidate members to be changed before the enlargement politics continues.
