Ad Hoc Body Did Not Give Consent for Association with Name Tsar Ferdinand

The newly formed advisory body for the use of names of historical figures adopted a negative opinion on the use of the name of the Bulgarian Tsar Ferdinand. In the name of an association that wants to bear the name of this historical person and for whose registration documents were recently submitted for registration in the central registry. According to announcements, the opinion will be submitted to the Ministry of Justice and will be officially announced soon. This is the first working meeting of this ad hoc body, which was established by the government after the reactions to the Bulgarian clubs Vancho Mihailov and Tsar Boris, due to connection with fascism.
