Slovenian Ambassador Milan Jazbec said on Tuesday that his country strongly supported a date for Macedonia for a start of membership negotiations with. “Two weeks before the meeting of the Council of the EU, I must say that Slovenia strongly supports your country, the Republic of North Macedonia, to get a green light for a start of negotiations with the EU. This project is among the most important in front of us and I have no doubt that you will get in two weeks the green light to start the negotiations,” he pointed out. As Jazbec, who attended the start of the academic year at Mother Teresa University in Skopje, added, one week before the Council, Slovenian PM Marjan Sarec will visit Macedonia to send a strong signal to everyone in Europe about Slovenia’s support.
