Ambassador Request for Arifi Was Never Sent, Osmani Claims

A request for an agreement has never been sent to any country for the appointment of Teuta Arifi as ambassador, said Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani. “There has never been a formalized proposal for Teuta Arifi. There were considerations, but never a formalized proposal to be sent to Brussels,” Foreign Minister Osmani said at a news conference, answering a reporter’s question about the positive response from the six proposals sent by the Foreign Ministry to the President’s Office. Osmani reiterated that names and places are mentioned in the media for three days, that agreements are rejected, and he was not asked about it at all and called for caution when names are mentioned and asked for such information to be checked.
