The Amnesty Law was published on Friday in the Official Gazette, following President Gjorge Ivanov’s signing. That means a start of the five-day deadline that defendants in the 27 April case have to file a request to be covered in the procedure. Goran Angelov and Ivan Cvetanovski will be among those that will file an amnesty request. Their lawyer said his clients wanted to accept the reconciliation offer. The following day, Criminal Court sources confirmed for Telma TV that MP Krsto Mukoski was one of the five defendants that had filed a request. Among those that have filed a request are also Oliver Radulov, Nikola Mitrevski and Mladen Dodevski, the TV station added. Lawyers of defendants Saso Vasilevski and Aleksandar Vasilevski confirmed their clients would file a request on Monday.
