The Criminal Council at the Appeal Court of Macedonia reached a decision to reject the appeals filed by the defence teams of former Transport Minister Mile Jakankieski and former Sec Gen of the Government of Macedonia Kiril Bozinovski for abolishment of the detention measures determined for them by the Criminal Court. Janakieski and Bozinovski are charged by the Special Public Prosecution (SPO) for electoral frauds in the “Titanic” case. The Appeal Court rejected their appeals as ungrounded, while their lawyers claimed at the public session in the court that the decisions for their detention violate the laws of Macedonia for cases like this one.
