Deputy Ombudsman Vaska Bajramovska Mustafa announced in a statement to the media that the Ombudsman opened a case to determine the causes of the death of the nine-month-old baby, who passed away of tuberculosis. She added that the Ombudsman will continue the procedure and wait for the answers from the competent health institutions, but, as she says, the competent State Sanitary and Health Inspectorate and the Ministry of Health will also be involved in the process. The Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Jovanka Trencevska, stated in a statement to the media that after the inspection carried out by the expert team from the Centre for Social Affairs determined that the family of the nine-month-old baby who died lived in good conditions and that they are not beneficiaries of social assistance or child protection. From the health aspect, added the minister, the Ministry of Health should act with their services.
