Bled Strategic Forum: PM Kovacevski Delivers Address and Holds Meeting

At the Bled Strategic Forum, PM Dimitar Kovacevski said on Monday that though 80% of citizens of North Macedonia were in favour of EU membership, they were also discouraged by the blockades coming one after another from EU members.

Regarding the relations with Skopje, Bulgarian PM Nikolai Denkov said the chance for making the constitutional changes should be used in the next several months.

The host, Slovenian PM Robert Golob, stated the enlargement momentum had a completely new perspective. Things are changing quickly. He is adamant that the enlargement process would in the next 12 months have not only new encouragement, but also there would be a new look.

At the opening of the Forum, Kovacevski had been welcomed by Golob and Slovenia’s Foreign Minister, Tanja Fajon.
