The High Representative of the European Union Josep Borrell, as well as US Ambassador to Macedonia Kate Marie Byrnes and European Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi greeted the Parliamentary election date agreement through their respective Twitter accounts. Among others, President Stevo Pendarovski and Technical PM Oliver Spasovski also welcomed this agreement, President Pendarovski saying that this is another confirmation that every mature democratic country needs political dialogue in order to make decision that will benefit the citizens. PM Spasovski assures the citizens that the elections will be performed under safe conditions. DUI also sent out a press-release which welcomed the agreement and noted that this way a political crisis was avoided, after the health and economic one.
