Bulgarian Foreign Ministry: Framework Sets Principles over Negotiations

In a press-release issued on Sunday, Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministry said the negotiating framework that would be presented to North Macedonia after the end of the stage of opening accession negotiations, as agreed by the Council of the EU, specifically set the principles regulating the negotiations.

The Ministry reiterated Sofia was asking for institutions to prove their seriousness with which they planned to prosecute hate crimes against Bulgarians in North Macedonia, such as the Hristijan Pendikov case.
