Former European Court of Human Rights Judge Margarita Caca-Nikolovska is the President of the working group for constitutional changes. Former Constitutional Court Judge Bajram Pollozhani is the Deputy. On Wednesday, the 23 members held the constitutive session, at which they agreed to start work after the Labour Day (1 May) holidays. According to President Stevo Pendarovski, North Macedonia will not lose anything as a result of the inclusion of Bulgarians and ethnic communities in the Constitution. PM Dimitar Kovacevski’s stand is that the procedure is in accordance with the determined negotiating framework. The group consists of 10 experts, 10 persons nominated by parties, and three people from institutions.
