Central heating Pipe leak Affects part of Documentation at SPO

On Tuesday, a central heating pipe leak affected part of the documentation at the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO). It’s about documents being gathered as evidence in the Empire, Three hundred and Spy cases. According to the SPO, it has the documents also in electronic form, while the destroyed ones, if necessary, will be renewed. All documents concerning the Empire case are intact. Documents at the SPO are scanned, but if it’s determined that there are ones that don’t have an electronic form, a renewal process will be requested. Currently, it’s being examined what caused the leak. What’s also underway is an internal procedure to prepare an inventory and assess the total damage. In the meantime, SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE are forming the working groups that will need to iron out the differences over the SPO Law. Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski expects constructive dialogue. The Deputy PM for European Affairs Bujar Osmani said the SPO’s composition and the wire-tapped materials as evidence had never been in question. VMRO-DPMNE, which stated that the meetings should start soon, is forming its group. What the opposition party finds most questionable is Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva.
