Coronavirus situation: 25 New Cases, 17 Cured Patients and Three Deaths

“Over the past 24 hours, 25 new COVID-19 cases have been registered,” the Public Health Institute said on Wednesday. It was added that the same period had seen 17 new cured patients and three new deaths. 622 tests were taken in the 24-hour span. There are currently 450 active cases in Macedonia. The same day, the Health Ministry said the decision ending the curfew on Macedonia’s territory had been made on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the three-month period after the first COVID-19 case had been registered. However, the institution added that citizens had to comply with its recommendations and measures concerning protective equipment, distancing, and personal hygiene. “Successfully dealing with the coronavirus depends on us,” the Ministry added. Some doctors said they were surprised by the sudden relaxation of the restrictive measures, adding that they had expected that to be done gradually.
