Court of Appeals with Milder Sentences in Titanic Case

The Court of Appeals has reached milder sentences for the defendants that pled guilty in the Titanic case, which concerns election irregularities. Prison sentences for ex-minister Gordana Jankuloska and Munir Pepic have been replaced with suspended ones. The Court confirmed the suspended sentence also for Martin Protoger and reduced it for ex- minister Mile Janakieski, who will have to spend 3.5 years behind bars instead of 3.5. Among the other defendants in the case are ex-PM Nikola Gruevski and former MP Ilija Dimovski.
