COVID-19 Vaccination Kicks Off Wednesday in Skopje

The Health Ministry informs that the vaccination against COVID-19 will officially start on Wednesday at the modular hospital in the yard in front of the Clinic for Infectious Diseases in Skopje. The vaccination on Wednesday will start at 10:00 a.m. and will proceed in the following days in two shifts between 08:00 a.m. and 08:00 p.m., at 6 vaccination points in the modular hospital. According to the vaccination plan of the Health Ministry, the medical workers working at COVID-19 centres will be the first to be vaccinated, and of them so far 4,000 doctors and nurses, half of which from Skopje, have registered for vaccination either via the web portal vakcinacija.mk or at the Health Ministry. Macedonia received a donation of 4,680 doses of COVID-19 vaccines from the producer Pfizer from Serbia, while PM Zoran Zaev recently stated that a shipment of Chinese vaccines is to arrive in the country by the end of February.
