“As a country that maintains friendly relations with Bulgaria and Macedonia, we will try in every possible way to facilitate the resolution of their differences,” said Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias in an interview with Euronews. “Following the Thessaloniki agenda, Greece is a strong supporter of the European perspective of the Balkan Peninsula and of course the Western Balkans, and especially in the specific case of Macedonia and Albania. And as a country that maintains friendly relations with Bulgaria and Macedonia, we will try in every possible way to facilitate the resolution of their differences. And I’m sure everyone will appreciate that,” Dendias said. Asked whether Greece would take concrete initiatives, the Greek Foreign Minister replied that “initiative is a very strong word” and added that they are friends with everyone and try to help everyone.
