Denis Tot Murder: Court of Appeals Confirms Sentences

The Court of Appeals has confirmed the sentences of everyone convicted in relation to the murder of Croatian handball player Denis Tot.

Andzelo Gjorgjievski and Klementina Nikolovska will each need to spend 18 years in prison, while Andrej Kostovski’s sentence remains 16 years in prison. A change has been made only in relation to the non-material damage that needs to be paid to Tot’s family.

The verdict was reached by the Criminal Court in November 2022. The defendants pled not guilty. Tot was killed outside a discotheque in Skopje.
