Deputy PM for European Affairs Bojan Maricic met on Wednesday Ambassador of Luxembourg to North Macedonia, resident in Belgrade, Philippe Donckel. “Mister Donckel is very well familiar with the geo-political situations in the Western Balkans, and a great friend of our country, and believes that the start of the EU accession talks with North Macedonia and Albania would strengthen the stability of the Western Balkans and the EU itself, and that now is the best time for that to happen, since entire Europe is influenced by the crisis in Ukraine. We also spoke about our bilateral negotiations with Bulgaria for overcoming our issues, as well as the reforms we implement and are to implement as part of the entire process for integration in the EU,” Maricic wrote on Facebook.
