Deputy PM for European Affairs Bojan Maricic paid an official visit to Strasbourg, where he held a meeting with the EU Ambassador at the Council of Europe Meglena Kuneva. At the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the processes for the European integration of North Macedonia and the importance of the resolution of the bilateral disputes between Skopje and Sofia. “I got from Mrs. Kuneva very useful advice concerning the EU integration processes and the challenges we would face on that road. We appreciate the Bulgarian experiences in that process,” Maricic said. Kuneva voiced strong support for the integration of North Macedonia in the EU, and expressed hope that Skopje and Sofia will resolve the bilateral disputes as soon as possible.
