Deputy PM Nikola Dimitrov in Interview with Radio Free Europe

In an interview with Radio Free Europe, Deputy PM for European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov says that it will be counter-productive if there is political pressure for the Skopje-Sofia Commission on Historical Issues to deliver. In his view, everyone should be very careful when it comes to judging the work of the Commission. At the same time, Dimitrov adds, its members should be careful when making political judgments because that has happened. Asked whether the proposal brought by Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi and Portuguese Foreign Minister Augusto Santos Silva can see the Macedonian identity preserved, the Deputy PM says that is so.
