Deskoska: Vetting to be Conducted after Election in April 2020

The Justice Minister Renata Deskoska said that a vetting process in the judiciary cannot be started without the Parliament’s approval, adopted with 2/3 majority. “We should not rush this or any other process. I am glad that the awareness about the vetting is rising among the judicial employees, but we have to leave this process for the period after the snap election in April 2020. We can conduct the vetting either through a multi-disciplinary commission, or by several commissions from different institutions,” Deskoska said.
