Diaspora Minister Edmond Ademi held a meeting on Wednesday with the Deputy PM for European Affairs, Bujar Osmani. They talked about the possibility of the diaspora getting involved in the country’s membership negotiations. “In the negotiations process ahead, we have an obligation to use all potentials at our disposal, with the diaspora representing huge potential in this regard,” Osmani stated. According to him, the diaspora represents an unbreakable part of the country. “In that regard, it is our obligation to ensure greater inclusiveness of these potentials in the coming negotiations,” the Deputy PM added. Ademi and Osmani exchanged views about using the experiences form the project implemented by the Irish Government for getting the Irish diaspora involved in the policies of the country.
