The differences over the part of the Public Prosecutor’s Office Draft Law concerning the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO) are still present. After the 40-minute meeting on Friday, the parties’ representatives reiterated their stands. VMRO-DPMNE adheres to the principles presented on 120 pages. Using more diplomatic wording, MP Antonijo Milososki, who is a suspect in a SPO investigation, called for current prosecutors to be replaced. On the other hand, the authorities consider the Draft Law to be ideal. It said the opposition was trying to push through a new amnesty process and proposing for the SPO’s investigations launched after 30 June 2017 to be stopped. However, Milososki stated that the issue hadn’t been discussed at the meeting. DUI supports the Draft Law, which has already entered parliament.
