Dimitrov and Osmani Hold Several Meetings in Brussels

The Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European Affairs, Nikola Dimitrov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bujar Osmani, on Tuesday, in Brussels met with the Vice President of the European Commission and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell. The focus of the conversation was the future of the EU enlargement policy, primarily in the context of the developments after the adoption of the new Methodology and the opportunities it offers for dynamizing the process, harmonizing the Negotiating Framework for Macedonia, the importance and benefits of regional cooperation and promoting good neighbourly relations as key elements for the European perspective, both for the country and for the whole region. The Dimitrov-Osmani duo in Brussels met also with Portuguese Foreign Minister Augusto Santos Silva, and Miroslav Lajcak, EU Special Representative for the Western Balkans and the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue.
