Dimitrov in Brussels: Macedonia will Demonstrate Decisiveness

FM Nikola Dimitrov, at the Foreign Affairs Ministers’ Meeting by NATO member states in Brussels, stated that by entering NATO, Macedonia will contribute toward the strengthening of the regional security and will demonstrate decisiveness in creating resilient security environment, capable of facing potential risks both in the regions ’a framework as well as the broader trans-Atlantic area. MoFA informs that FM Dimitrov had the opportunity to express the importance which the country would contribute to the ATO membership and to present the country’s positions in current issues on unity and security in the trans-Atlantic community. Dimitrov pointed out the dedication of the country toward key topics such as rightful division of financial burden, fight against terrorism, the NATO concepts for repelling and defence and projecting stability, contribution in international operations, managing non-conventional security threats and other. He also greeted the dynamic and haste the national ratification procedures are being executed for Macedonia’s NATO membership. During the margins of the NATO meeting, FM Dimitrov met high NATO representatives and several of his foreign colleagues.
