Defence Minister Slavjanka Petrovska paid an official visit to Pristina on Thursday, where she held a meeting with her Kosovo counterpart, Defence Minister Armend Mehaj. In Pristina, Petrovska and Mehaj signed a cooperation memorandum focusing on the cooperation between the two countries in the field of defence, which is an extension to the similar document the two countries signed back in 2010. “As a NATO member-state, North Macedonia remains dedicated to the strengthening of the regional stability and security, which is crucial for the good development of our countries, especially today, when we experience a disbalanced geo-political situation in Europe amidst the crisis in Ukraine. We also remain dedicated to our contributions to the Mission of KFOR,” Petrovska told Mehaj.
